Public Exhibition

We welcomed over 1,300 people to our second public exhibition of the Harbour Plan in Customs House at the end of July.

It's an incredible amount of visitors and we're grateful for the opportunity to explain our design approach and the thinking behind this ambitious and transformational project and hear what people had to say: what they liked, what concerned them and how we could improve it.

The Folkestone Seafront development has had outline planning approved since 2015 that defined heights, number of units, and public contributions. We at A IS FOR__ started working on detailed designs for the Harbour plots in 2022 and since then we've had an intense calendar of stakeholder workshops, meetings with local traders, design review panels and planning workshops, we're committed to delivering the best scheme possible.

It's time to take all this invaluable feedback from the community and work on the next iteration of the design.
