Considering the constantly changing reality of the film industry... how can we design a studio able to adapt to changes in trends and market conditions as well as addressing the environmental challenges of today?

Taking a derelict industrial site, we retain and modify the existing structure unifying the volumes with a roof giving the users of the film intistitial spaces to relax and recoup during filming challegning the notion of film studios not being great places to be.

By retaining the existing structures, we ensure that the environmental impact of the interventions giving new life to an otherwise forgotten site. Interstitial spaces are landscaped to provide comfortable areas for actors and crew between shoots as well increasing the biodiversity of the site

Multiple Sound Stages and production facilities of different sizes and types are supplemented with a large backlot, office space workshops and various welfare and support programs  as well as on site accommodation for staff and visitors.
