Duarte Lobo Antunes

Director

Duarte is the Director of A IS FOR ARCHITECTURE. He graduated from the Porto University School of Architecture and has an MA in Architectural History from the Bartlett, UCL. ​He interned with Aires Mateus in Lisbon and from 2007 worked with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. From 2013 he was at ACME in London where he was in charge of several award-wining projects, most notably the stair at One New Change, the Marsa Plaza, in Muscat, Oman and the Folkestone Seafront Masterplan. ​Since 2019 he runs a MArch Studio at the Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA.
