Duarte is the Director of A IS FOR __ . He graduated from the Porto University School of Architecture and has an MA in Architectural History from the Bartlett, UCL. He interned with Aires Mateus in Lisbon and from 2007 worked with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. From 2013 he was at ACME in London where he was in charge of several award-wining projects, most notably the stair at One New Change, the Marsa Plaza, in Muscat, Oman and the Folkestone Seafront Masterplan. Since 2019 he runs a MArch Studio at the Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA.
Hanna graduated with a BA in Architecture from Birmingham City University in 2019 where he won the B&FCAA Green Book Award and was nominated for the AJ Student Prize. Narges gained her BSc in Architectural Engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Tehran in 2018 and holds a Master of Architectural Design from the University of Sheffield. In 2022, She graduated from the MArch Programme at the Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA with a thesis exploring medical facilities, laboratories and the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease as a way of regenerating a coastal town in north Wales.

Before working at ACME Jack worked for Sauerbruch Hutton Architects in Berlin. Jack is a sessional tutor at Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA, and he is an ambassador for the Architects Benevolent Society.
